Cluster Initiative

20130204_Projectcompleted

The RoboCluster Cluster Initiative is designed to cover the business completely dominant long-term needs: spread the use of robotics and automation technology for existing and new sectors and create visibility among the market's long-term automation needs and potential opportunities in the automation business.

The RoboCluster Cluster Initiative is intended for suppliers and buyers in the

industry and research and training institutions specializing in robotics and automation technology. The goal is to strengthen the parties by giving them easier access to new knowledge and enhance innovation capability within three areas:
- Biological production
- Food/industry
- Health/care

Specifically, the project produces the so-called user-driven innovation circles in each of the three segments. Innovation circles render needs and competencies generating ideas for the establishment of specific innovation projects, which supports the spread and development of automation technology. Innovation circles are supported by a number of cross-cutting activities: Dissemination, internationalization - including company visits and visits to international robot environments - globalization check, as well as attracting competent labour force.
